In 2019 right after the birth of our second daughter. I decided that it's time to go full time with Woods & Hunter. Little did we know then that in a few short months the entire planet would shut down.

Woods & Hunter Est. 2016

“We should start a business to leave a legacy for our kids.” These were the words I spoke to my wife back in 2016. Very confused, and very much childless at the time, she didn’t quite know how to respond, especially with the smell of my entrepreneurial tires spinning. But I’ve always been one to think ahead.  

Even before our children existed, I knew I wanted to give them something they could be proud of. Nothing fancy, nothing overdramatic, nothing claiming to be the proverbial hero that saves the world. Something simple, something meaningful. Something like lip balm. Soap. Candles. Staple essentials that simply make life better.   And that’s how Woods and Hunter came about.  

Today, our mission is to prove that small things can make a big difference. Whether you’re vacationing on the other side of the planet or hunting for bugs with the kids in your own backyard, you’re always in pursuit of your next best adventure – and we’re your partner in exploration crime.
